ABOUT THE COMPANY Established by Ben Fowler in 1986 Fowler and company has built a reputation for the design and manufacture of fine contemporary furniture including an award winning office interior for E FAct Ltd London. Employing four skilled cabinet makers and working with other designers and makers, production is primarily based at Scott Workshops in Portslade where the design studio, equipped with comprehensive CAD facilities is also based. Ben Fowler (M DES RCA) is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Designers and offers a full Design Consultancy Service incorporating the development of you or your clients design brief, the production of sketch and detail drawings, prototyping of products through to manufacture, supply and fitting. Matt Williams joined Fowler and Co in 1994 and it was immediately evident he had a flair for woodworking. With 15 years continuous employment at Fowler and Co Matt has amassed enormous experience and his skills as a furniture maker are unparalleled. He has an understanding of the design process, great ingenuity as a problem solver and is also responsible for managing the workshop, quality control and training cabinet makers. Tommy Tsang joined Fowler and Co in 2004 during his Modern Apprenticeship in Furniture Making at City College Brighton. After gaining his qualification we were delighted to offer him full time employment during which he has continued to increase his skills and knowledge and is now an invaluable member of the team. Mike Hanbury joined Fowler and Co in 2006 having amassed an impressive track record working for other cabinet making firms and for himself. He is an experienced and skilled cabinet maker with a wealth of knowledge.
